Automation Technician / PLC Programmer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

- Program, modify, and optimize PLC control systems (e.g. Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT, or Codesys)
- Commission machines and automated systems both in-house and at customer sites
- Develop and maintain HMI/SCADA visualization systems
- Analyze and troubleshoot faults and perform functional and acceptance tests
- Integrate and configure drives, sensors, and industrial fieldbus systems
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate closely with mechanical design, electrical engineering, production, and service teams

Your profile:

- Degree or technical qualification in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Experience in PLC programming and commissioning of industrial machinery, preferably in machine or plant engineering
- Proficiency with PLC platforms such as Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT, or Codesys, as well as industrial communication protocols
- Familiarity with motion control, servo drive technology, and machine safety concepts is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a structured and independent working style
- Good command of English; additional language skills are considered an asset
- Willingness to travel internationally for machine commissioning and customer support
