Interim Senior Buyer – Electronics (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

- Lead series procurement for electronic components (focus: passive components)
- Conduct price negotiations with distributors and manufacturers (aligned with Global Commodity Managers)
- Negotiate and implement supplier contracts and commercial terms
- Drive supplier sourcing and scouting, identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Execute commodity and supplier strategies
- Achieve MAT cost targets and implement cost reduction initiatives
- Manage risk mitigation (e.g. dual sourcing) and ensure contract compliance; collaborate cross-functionally

Your profile:

- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
- 5+ years of experience in electronic components procurement
- Strong market knowledge of passive components (e.g. capacitors, resistors)
- Proven expertise in price analysis, cost breakdowns, and negotiations
- Experience in supplier management, sourcing, and contract negotiation
- Strong proficiency in SAP, MS Excel, and Power BI; solid reporting skills (PowerPoint)
- Independent, result-oriented working style with strong communication skills; fluent in English
