ABOUT THE ROLEAs Head of Processes, Methods and Tools, you are responsible for the definition, governance and continuous improvement of engineering methods and tool landscapes within our design organization.
Your primary focus lies on the effective use, optimization and integration of Teamcenter (PLM) and Polarion (Requirements Management) as core systems for structured product development.
This is not a purely strategic role - you will act as the system owner and backend administrator of our core engineering tools, ensuring performance, stability, data consistency and continuous improvement.
The role is focused on engineering and product development, with limited interaction with production.

• Govern and continuously improve engineering processes and standards
• Act as system owner and backend administrator for: Teamcenter (PLM); Polarion (Requirements Management)
• Configure workflows, data models, access rights and system settings
• Ensure stable system performance, data integrity and traceability
• Drive integration between Teamcenter, Polarion, Siemens Capital and MONITOR (ERP)
• Coordinate with our IT provider regarding on-premise infrastructure, server performance and user management
• Provide training and support to engineering teams and ensure best-practice usage
WHAT YOU BRING
• Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• Several years of hands-on experience administering PLM and requirements management systems
• Strong expertise in: Teamcenter (incl. configuration & backend administration); Polarion (workflow and data configuration)
• Experience with system integrations and ERP interfaces (MONITOR is a plus)
• Solid understanding of structured product development and requirements traceability
• Comfortable working both strategically and operationally in tool environments
• Structured, analytical and solution-oriented mindset
WHAT WE OFFER
• Full-scale aerospace engineering, not concept slides
• A 60+ engineer team at Ottobrunn
• Real ownership and flat hierarchies: a modern startup culture where your input shapes decisions, not just execution.
• Flexible working hours, remote work, and competitive compensation.
• Health & wellbeing: EGYM Wellpass membership and subsidized lunch in our canteen.
• Office extras: espresso coffee, fresh fruit, and soft drinks, plus regular team and company events, and plenty more once you're on board.
