Quality Control Technician – Semiconductor (m/f/d) (Qualitätssicherungstechniker/in)

About us Join us to build up one of Europe’s most advancedsemiconductor manufacturing sites in Dresden. As a Quality ControlTechnician you serve as the final quality gate before our productsreach global customers. In this role, you combine automated opticalinspection (AVI), systematic defect review, and final documentationchecks in a cutting-edge cleanroom facility.

During your onboardingstarting in February 2027, you will complete a 6-month trainingprogram in Taiwan to gain hands-on fab experience, master coreinspection procedures, and build a strong international network. TasksOperate optical inspection tools and manage Automated VisualInspection recipes. Perform detailed defect reviews, verify hold lots,and generate structured defect reports for engineering evaluation.Validate outgoing wafer documentation and ensure strict compliancewith quality, handling, and shipping standards.

Execute cleanroomenvironmental monitoring and support routine tool calibration and 6Saudit processes. Conduct initial troubleshooting on inspectionequipment and execute lot disposition according to standardprocedures. Manage operational inventory of cleanroom parts,consumables, and Front Opening Shipping Boxes.

Handle manual packingand safe dispatch preparation of finished goods for warehousetransfer. Work in rotating shift schedules (initially a 2-shift model,transitioning to a continuous 5-crew 3-shift roster). Profile MustHave: Completed technical vocational training (Berufsausbildung) orequivalent with technical background/aptitude.

Hands-on experience inmanufacturing, production, or quality inspection environments.Semiconductor experience is a plus, but motivated entry-levelcandidates and cross-industry applicants are welcome). Willingness towork in a cleanroom environment (90%), covering physical materialhandling as well as stationary desk-based analysis. Readiness to workrotating shifts.

Solid PC literacy (MS Office, especially Excel).Professional English proficiency (min. B2) and at least basic Germanlanguage skills. Availability for onboarding in February 2027,including the 6-month training in Tainan, Taiwan.

Nice to Have: Priorexperience in cleanroom environments, semiconductor manufacturing, orprecision industries (e.g., optics, electronics, medical technology).Basic understanding of defect inspection systems, statistical processcontrol, or 6S principles. Mandarin language skills (beneficial forcross-site collaboration).
