Tacalyx is a biopharmaceutical company developing innovative therapeutics to target tumor-associated carbohydrate antigens (TACAs). To strengthen our team in Berlin-Adlershof, we are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Scientist - Antibody and Protein Biochemistry. This laboratory-based role focuses on the design, expression, purification, characterization and modification of antibodies and recombinant proteins to support therapeutic development.

It also includes the coordination and scientific oversight of external research activities.Scientist (m/f/d) -Antibody and Protein BiochemistryFull-time | On-site in Berlin-AdlershofDesign of protein and antibody constructs, including chimeric, humanized and multispecific mAbsChemical and enzymatic modification of antibodies (e.g. fragmentation, labeling and conjugation)Characterization of antibody affinity, integrity, activity and stability using methods such as SPR, ELISA, Western blotting and thermal shift assaysMolecular cloning and expression of recombinant proteins in prokaryotic and mammalian cellsDevelopment and implementation of protein purification workflows using an ÄKTA chromatography systemDocumentation and reporting of results and evaluation of relevant scientific literatureCollaboration in project teams advancing antibodies toward first-in-human studiesCoordination and scientific oversight of projects with external partners (e.g.
