To help us buildthe foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for ahighly motivated and passionate (m/f/d): Senior Equipment Hook-UpEngineer As a Senior Equipment Hook-Up Engineer, you will becoordinating all hook-up activities from planning, construction, andcommissioning of faculty media supplies (gases, chemicals, exhaustair, ultra-pure water, wastewater, electricity) from the base buildsupply connection to the process equipment at our new state-of-the-artsemiconductor fab in Dresden.

Your role will ensure system safety,reliability, efficiency, and compliance while driving continuousimprovement and innovation. You will collaborate with internal teamsand external service providers. Tasks New challenges: Become part ofthe facility team to build ESMC's 300mm semiconductor fab.

SystemOwnership & Optimization: Develop and manage detailed schedules forequipment hookups, coordinating with equipment vendors, constructionteams, contract vendor management, and facility engineers to ensureseamless integration in compliance with environmental and safetyregulations. Technical Expertise: Review and approve hookup designsand engineering plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards andproject specifications.

Experience in electrical, process collingwater, ultra-pure water, Gas & Chemical, and other Plastic utilitysystems. Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor and report on theprogress of hookup activities to senior management, addressing anyissues or delays proactively. Project Involvement: Support systemdesign, construction, and commissioning for new facility installationsand upgrades.

Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization: Plan,coordinate, and execute strategies to accelerate hookup progress.Identify opportunities for cost savings, reliability improvements, andintegration of best practices. Collaboration: Lead a team oftechnicians and contractors, providing guidance, training, andperformance evaluations. Communicate with cross function engineers orvenders.

Profile Job Qualifications: Qualifications and Education:Degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or Automation Engineeringor a related field Must have experience: 10+ years of experience inequipment hookup or facility engineering within the semiconductorindustry. Proven track record in managing large-scale construction orinstallation projects. Familiarity with semiconductor fabricationprocesses and equipment.

Language Skills: Fluent German and Englishlanguage skills. Professional Skills: Proficient with MicrosoftOffice, discipline-specific software (i.e., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).Personal Attributes: Strong analytical thinking and highly effectiveinterpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others.Location: Dresden, Germany.
