Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

- Drive technology development of photonics for example enabling the scaling towards very large ion trap chips - Design, fabricate and characterize photonic circuit chips for a wide range of applications - Author technical reports and publications in close collaborations with internal and external partners - Supervise Master and PhD students

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

- PhD degree in physics, quantum engineering, electrical engineering- 3+ years of hands on experience in photonics, quantum optics and/or ion trapping - High level of motivation, striving for photonics and quantum computing to become a reality - Be fluent in English communication and presentation skills (German is a plus)
