PMO Manager (m/f/d) (Projektassistent/in)

Your Tasks

- Support the Director of Exploration, Science and Human Spaceflight as well as project managers in all PMO-related activities, including project planning, organization, execution, and business management
- Assist in resource planning, including clarification of staffing requirements and coordination with project leadership
Contribute to the development and maintenance of project structures, work packages, and internal agreements (e.g. Work Orders)
- Monitor project progress by tracking schedules, action items, and supporting reporting activities for internal and external stakeholders
- Support risk, change, and claim management processes across projects
- Collaborate on cost-to-completion analyses together with project controlling
- Organize project meetings, reviews, and coordination with industrial partners
- Drive the improvement and standardization of project management tools, processes, and templates to enhance efficiency, quality, and risk mitigation
Your Qualifications

- Degree in aerospace engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Relevant experience in PMO functions or project management, including familiarity with standard methodologies
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, resource management, and performance controlling (time, cost, quality)
- Experience with risk management, configuration & change management, and cost estimation processes
- Familiarity with ECSS standards and related project management frameworks is an advantage
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a structured working style
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in international teams
- Confident and diplomatic personality with problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
