Homologation & Certification Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

- Manage Type Approval Testing (TAT) and In-Service Conformity (ISC) activities for combustion engine and emissions certification in accordance with EU regulations
- Guide internal project teams and ensure compliance with applicable homologation and certification requirements
- Attend type approval tests and act as the primary interface with technical services and certification authorities in EU and worldwide
- Coordinate, review and release certification documentation
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on current and future certification activities
- Collaborate closely with our global certification department in Japan

Your profile:

- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical discipline
- Experience in vehicle homologation, certification, or regulatory compliance, with strong knowledge of vehicle systems and EU/UNECE regulations
- Analytical, structured, and proactive working style
- Strong communication skills and experience working in international, cross-functional teams
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
