Join our network security team and take responsibility for protecting and evolving a global enterprise firewall landscape in a dynamic international environment.

Your responsibilities

* Administration and operation of enterprise firewall environments across global cloud, data center, and branch locations

* Planning, coordination, and execution of firewall rollouts, migrations, and lifecycle activities

* Ensuring compliance with defined SLAs, including response and resolution times during ticket handling

* Creation, implementation, and documentation of changes within the scope of the firewall service

* Development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of infrastructure and security documentation

* Configuration and implementation of firewall rules, NAT policies, and routing adjustments

* Regular review of existing firewall rule sets and execution of policy clean-ups to ensure security and performance best practices

* Support in troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity and security-related incidents

* Collaboration with internal teams and international stakeholders to ensure stable and secure network operations

Your qualifications

* Proven experience in administering enterprise firewall environments, ideally with Palo Alto Networks firewalls

* Strong networking knowledge, particularly in Internet technologies, routing protocols, IPv4, and IPv6

* Solid understanding of IT security principles, network security architectures, and best practices

* Familiarity with ITIL-based service management processes is an advantage

* Structured, service-oriented working style with a strong focus on quality and reliability

* Ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders in a professional environment

* Fluent English and good German language skills, both written and spoken
