Junior Manager Technical SEO/GEO Excellence (f/m/x) (SEO-Manager/in)

Important information: This position is limited to 6 months.
TASKS WITH IMPACT
You support the SEO/GEO Technical Excellence team in continuously increasing the efficiency, quality and scalability of our SEO processes across all markets through automation, standardization and the use of AI-driven technologies.

- You build and maintain automation scripts, workflows and applications (web-based and local) that support Technical SEO/GEO processes, leveraging AI tools
- You contribute to building and maintaining internal tools (web-based and local applications) used by the team to support SEO/GEO workflows
- You execute Technical SEO/GEO tasks
- You continuously scout, evaluate and pilot new AI tools and technologies to identify further automation opportunities for the team
- You create and document workflows, processes and technical standards
- You collaborate closely with Content, Product Development, Dev, BI and country/market teams
- You track and report KPIs and efficiency gains in JIRA
- You conduct workshops for teams on technical SEO/GEO standards and AI-related topics

Alongside these competencies, we're looking for the following skills:

- Successfully completed studies or vocational training in a technical/IT-related field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems or similar) or comparable technical background/affinity
- Solid technical understanding: you grasp and navigate technical/IT topics with ease and work in an analytical, structured way
- Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for technical SEO, GEO and AI-related topics, paired with strong technical affinity
- Detail-oriented way of working combined with effective and impactful communication
- Fluent English required; German language skills are a plus
- Basic programming/scripting knowledge (e.g. Python, JavaScript) is a strong advantage
- Existing knowledge of SEO/GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and experience working with JIRA are a plus
