Tasks

- Overall responsibility for managing the Rolling Stock and Rail Vehicle Business Area, and the assigned departments in Germany
- Responsibility for implementing the Business Line strategy and achieving business objectives
- Commercial responsibility for the business area
- Line management and technical leadership of the assigned managers
- Responsibility for day-to-day operations
- Managing collaboration with other business areas
- Sustainable development of the portfolio and innovations
- Responsibility for leveraging market potential and implementing the business unit strategy
- Implementation of quality, occupational health and safety, compliance, and sustainability objectives

Qualifications

- Successfully completed university degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable field
- Extensive industry and market knowledge in the field of rolling stock / rail vehicles, particularly in approval and conformity assessment procedures for complete rail vehicles and their components
- Several years of relevant professional experience in commercial and strategic responsibility for comparable organizational departments/units
- Extensive experience in strengths-based leadership of managers
- Strong customer and service orientation, combined with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Above-average commitment, enthusiasm for networking, and the ability to motivate employees and managers
- Outgoing and confident manner
- Willingness to travel, primarily within Germany and Europe
- Business fluent in German and English Language written and spoken
