Now, we are powered by 50,000 employees globally who nurture a diverse, collaborative and inclusive culture.Tasks & responsibilities- As the Automation Lead Engineer or Automation Lead PMO, you will drive CapEx projects with total project costs exceeding €50 million, ensuring their completion within the agreed timeline, scope, and budget.- You will deliver projects using a globally standardized approach, aligning closely with business needs.- Your role will involve communicating complex automation concepts in a way that is clear and understandable to all stakeholders.- You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, Quality, and EHS, fostering seamless cooperation and alignment.- You will ensure that all projects comply with GMP, GAMP 5, and other regulatory requirements.- Vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management will be key aspects of your responsibilities.- Furthermore, you will actively manage risks, oversee change control processes, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Additional tasks for Senior Manager Automation Projects- As the Automation Discipline Lead, you will take ownership of CapEx projects with total project costs exceeding €50 million, ensuring the necessary automation solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.- You will unite and lead all automation functions within the project, including Process Automation, Building Automation and Lab Automation ensuring effective coordination and collaboration.Requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Automation, or related field, preferably with a focus on Industrial/Infrastructure Automation or Lab Automation and extensive experience in global project delivery- Strong knowledge in Project Management- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills- Proven expertise in automation systems (e.g., DCS, SCADA, MES, PLCs)- Strong knowledge of GMP, GAMP 5, and regulatory compliance- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with fluency in English and German- Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%Additional requirements for Senior Manager Automation Proejcts- Long experiences in managing Automation CapEx Projects >50 Mio. € in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry or large Lab Automation Projects- Exceptional and proven leadership skillsWe are seeking a highly experienced Global Automation Large CapEx Project Manager to lead the planning, execution and delivery of complex automation projects across our global network.
