We accompany you throughout your career and create an environment designed to make you #rundumjobglücklich.For a long-term project assignment with an international technology company in Erlangen, we are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d) with a strong focus on production support, data-platform reliability and root-cause analysis.You will work at the intersection of Data Engineering and Production Operations, investigating complex data issues across Snowflake, dbt, SQL, APIs and enterprise integrations and implementing sustainable fixes within the data layer.What we offer- Personal support throughout the entire assignment- Salary range: approx. 75.000 EUR - 85.000 EUR gross/year, depending on qualifications, experience and applicable collective agreement development- Long-term project assignment- 40-hour work week with no shift work- Modern enterprise data stack including Snowflake, dbt, APIs and cloud technologiesYour responsibilities- Monitor Snowflake databases, warehouses, data pipelines, dbt runs and data-quality checks- Investigate missing, delayed or incorrect data and perform end-to-end root-cause analysis- Troubleshoot SQL queries, views, transformation logic and failed dbt models or tests- Analyze REST and OData integrations including HTTP requests, JSON/XML payloads, authentication and endpoint configurations- Implement, test and safely deploy sustainable data-layer fixes through established CI/CD processesYour Profile- Relevant vocational training, university degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical field- At least 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or technical data-platform support- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Snowflake and dbt- Experience with REST APIs, OData, JSON/XML, Git/GitLab and CI/CD- Strong production troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills- Fluent English, both written and spoken; German language skills are not requiredExperience with SAP MM/procurement data, AWS services such as S3, API Gateway or Aurora, and Python scripting is an advantage.Does this position match your experience?
