Development Engineer - Orbital Stage (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Be the system owner of various structures and/or fluidic systems on the upper stage of the launch vehicle.
• Take ownership of the entire product lifecycle from concept to hardware integration and post-flight analysis
• Define and maintain requirements with a strong focus on system-reliability
• Create CAD models of components and assemblies
• Collaborate with the testing team to qualify the systems
• Support the AIT team and resolve non-conformances
• Closely work with peers from Propulsion, Analysis and Testing

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace engineering
• 2+ years in the design/ development of lightweight structures or fluidic systems for spacecraft applications.
• Experience with thermal control hardware like multilayer insulation, heat pipes, heaters… is a plus.
• Good skills with CAD software (Siemens NX or other)
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and addition to detail.
• Hands- on experience in a testing or operation environment
• Basic knowledge of launch vehicles and sub-systems
• Feel confident with medium and high-pressure pneumatic systems
• Business Level English
