This role focuses on the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of complex drone platforms, including heavy-lift and modular UAV systems designed for transporting medical equipment, rescue supplies, and other mission-critical payloads.Working closely with Engineering, Flight Operations, and Testing teams, the Unmanned Aircraft Maintenance Engineer performs preventive and corrective maintenance on propulsion systems, avionics, batteries, communication systems, and structural components.

The position also supports ground testing, flight readiness checks, and failure analysis to maintain the highest safety and performance standards. By ensuring that Avilus drone platforms remain mission-ready in demanding operational environments, the Unmanned Aircraft Maintenance Engineer plays a key role in enabling reliable aerial logistics and life-saving drone operations.Tasks- Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance tasks according to the Maintenance Planning Document (MPD) and Maintenance Schedule (MS)- Perform correctivemaintenancefollowingincidents, failures, or abnormal systembehavior- Maintainairframestructures, propulsionsystems, landinggear and mechanicalassemblies- Record all maintenanceactivities in thetechnical log system- Completejobcards, maintenancerecords and release documentation- Ensurecompliancewith internal procedures and regulatoryframeworks- Participate in pre-flight and post-flight inspectionsQualifications- Degree: Completed technical apprenticeship in a technical trade (e.g., mechanics, mechatronics, electronics)- Experience: at least 3 yearsofexperience, aviationbackgroundpreferred- Method-Knowledge: Strong methodicalskills and theabilitytowork in a structured and process-orientedmanner- Tool-Knowledge (mandatory): Hands-on experience with workshop equipment and strong proficiency in using standard mechanical and electrical tools.
