As a Manufacturing Projects Manager (d/f/m) at Airbus, you'll be in the leading position to drive engineering projects within the manufacturing area in Hamburg Finkenwerder. From the first concept stage through to final rollout, you will manage projects of different levels of complexity, whether they involve smaller process enhancements or major changes. This position calls for close cooperation with cross-functional teams, including engineering, technology, and manufacturing, to define technical requirements, implement improved processes, and secure lasting changes to products and production systems. It's an exciting and demanding full-time role that highlights your ability to make technical decisions, use agile methods, and coordinate resources in time-critical situations.
Your tasks:
- Manage small and partial manufacturing engineering projects from initial concept to completion.
- Work together with engineering, technology, and other teams to identify technical requirements and processes.
- Support efficient and lasting implementation of technical product and facility modifications.
- Review production processes, spot areas for improvement, and carry out measures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare budgets and investments to back project goals and launch optimization initiatives.
- Use agile methodology to run projects flexibly and respond to changing demands.
- Coordinate with local and international stakeholders, including occasional travel to China (twice a year for approximately two weeks).
VORAUSSSETZUNGEN:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration.
- 2 years of experience in the aerospace sector or a related industry.
- 3 years of project management experience, including knowledge of risk management.
- German and English proficiency at negotiation level.
- Confident use of IT tools such as Google Workspace.
- Strong analytical skills and technical problem-solving ability.
- Well-structured, independent working approach with a strong focus on results.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Willingness to travel internationally for projects (e.g., Hamburg to China).
