Senior Specialist Operational Procurement (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

- Lead development and implementation of effective sourcing strategies focusingon Professional Service, Aftersales and RD service, in order to ensure quality ofservices and significant cost reductions
- Lead preparation and conducting tenders in a timely manner driving costreductions and improvement of the quality of services
- Negotiate and select the best suppliers specifying quality, quantity and otherrequirements
- Regularly review and monitor contract status and suppliers’ deliveries
- Ensure transparency in carrying out execution purchasing procedure
- Relationship management and protect against supply chain constraint issues
- Act as gatekeeper of purchase order (PO) issuing process incl. the continuousimprovement

Your profile:

- You have a university degree in Economics, Management or a comparable field
- You have 5+ years of experience in purchasing or comparable fields, operationalbuyer experience is preferred
- You are familiar with the purchase to pay process
- You have working experience in multinational / multicultural projects
- You have IT-knowledge (MS Office + SAP MM module)
- You have legal knowledge (commercial law, software licensing, product liability)
- You are proficient in German and English at a negotiation level, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus
