In order to support the Mission Functions department, Airbus Helicopters is looking for an
Intern (d/f/m) within the mission software department

- Location: Donauwörth
- Start: As soon as possible
- Duration: 6 months
Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Collaborate with the transversal team to design, code software in programming languages like C, ADA, etc.
- Work on embedded systems to integrate and verify software with hardware components.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing software to improve reliability.
- Assist in requirements analysis for implementing them in the software.
- Participate in testing and validation of the embedded software.
- Collaborate with team members to align software solutions.
- Contribute to the team’s innovation by suggesting improvements or new ideas for the software development process.
- Write and maintain Python scripts for DevOps tasks, for continuous integration and improve the processes.
Desired skills and qualifications
- Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) within IT, computer Science or a similar field
- Knowledge in programming languages (Python, C, C++, .)
- Basic experience in agile software development methods would be a plus
- Ability to work in teams and solve complex technical problems
- Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work on multiple tasks simultaneously, especially in a dynamic environment.
- English: fluent
