Senior Backend Engineer (Python)

(f/m/d) with a strong focus on Python. Our client develops

market-leading data analytics software and is currently rapidly

advancing its innovative cloud and AI technologies. You can expect an

with your career goals. Your tasks In this key role, you will be

instrumental in driving the technological evolution of the systems:

Cloud Architecture: Further develop the existing AWS backend

architecture and implement efficient Lambdas using modern frameworks.

Performance & Scaling: Optimize the performance and scalability of

databases and systems (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, caching). Quality

Assurance: Introduce modern testing strategies (unit, integration,

E2E) and champion professional development and documentation standards

(Poetry, GitHub Actions, Confluence) within the team. Interface

Management: Maintain and optimize the seamless interaction between

cloud products, the account system, and the desktop software.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in an agile environment

(Scrum/Kanban), collaborating closely with Frontend, AI, and QA

Engineers, as well as Product Management and UX/UI Design. Your

Profile You bring at least 5 years of proven, hands-on experience in

Python backend development. You are highly proficient in frameworks

such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask. You have in-depth experience with

TypeScript/JavaScript as well as Boto3 (or comparable technologies).

You possess extensive AWS knowledge or have a strong background in

another cloud environment combined with a keen interest in

transitioning to AWS. Additionally, you are well-versed in GitHub

Actions and dependency management. You have solid practical experience

with PostgreSQL, SQL, DynamoDB, or ORMs. Mindset: Test automation,

software performance optimization, and design patterns are second

nature to you. You are a strong communicator who shows a high degree

of initiative and collaborates confidently within a team. What you can
