Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as Transport Services Manager (m/f/d) in Taufkirchen.

Your Responsibilities:

- Ensure transport management performance & improvement

- Implement and control KPIs (performance, cost, quality, environment)

- Ensure application of Airbus transport solutions, processes, rules & policies in transport activities

- Drive issue solving with a quick & simple alert/escalation process

- Propose and drive local, non disruptive and short term improvement initiatives

- Responsible for the definition of transport strategies

- Manage the Transport Provider contract compliance and subcontractor activities

- Perform technical negotiation in units price, volumes & forecasts

- Secure the delivery according to constraints (delay, cost, quality, quantity etc.)

- Manage CAPEX and OPEX in order to ensure transport means

- Implement and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with stakeholders

- Define a Transport planning aligned to the Programme Planning in order to secure the plants/ FALs operations timelines

- Assess transport impacts in case of short and middle term planning changes

- Perform Risk Management, Root Cause Analysis and manage mitigation plans

- Manage compliance to regulatory and safety obligations

Your Profile:

- Completed studies in Economics, International Management, Supply Chain / Logistics or comparable

- Several years of professional experience in Logistics and in large international industrial environment

- High experience in transport management

- Knowledge in complex type of shipping

- Very good user skills in MS-Office

- Fluent German and English skills spoken and written

- French skills would be a plus
