Layout Intergration Engineer (f/m/d) Large Gas Turbine Packages (Projektingenieur/in)

A Snapshot of Your Day

You manage the layout of several projects in parallel, typically 2–3 at a time. In the morning, you resolve technical issues by coordinating with cross-functional teams and align on solutions. You also present layout concepts to external customers while supporting projects in different phases. In the afternoon, you adapt reference layouts to project-specific requirements based on technical discussions. You develop 3D models where needed and prepare drawings and documentation for internal stakeholders and customers, ensuring smooth collaboration across all parties.

How You’ll Make an Impact

* Preparation of foundation interface drawings to support customer civil engineering activities
* Planning and modeling of equipment in a 3D tool environment and derivation of layout and assembly drawings
* Coordination with global interdisciplinary teams including piping, process, electrical, and civil engineering as well as external vendors and customers
* Review of detailed designs for main mechanical components and enclosures with a focus on layout requirements
* Adaptation of reference layouts to project-specific constraints and technical requirements
* Ensuring compliance with accessibility standards, escape routes, and hazardous area regulations

What You Bring

* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a comparable field
* Proven expertise in plant engineering, ideally within gas turbine power plants
* In-depth experience with 3D modeling tools such as Open Plant or comparable software
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in global, cross-functional teams
* High level of ownership, commitment to product quality, and proactive working style
* Good command of German and English language skills

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and
decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof,
steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings,
modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
