Project Manager (m/w/d) Finance Strategy (Projektleiter/in / Projektmanager/in)

As **Project Manager Finance Strategy,** you will act as a strategic and operational supporter of the CFO. You will operate at the intersection of finance, strategy, and executive management, supporting key decision-making processes and driving high-impact initiatives across the global organization.
This role is not a traditional support position. It is a highly visible interface role at the heart of Finance, combining executive communication, financial analysis, project coordination, and strategic decision preparation.You will work closely with the CFO, the Finance Leadership Team, business units, corporate functions, and selected external stakeholders. The role offers broad exposure to executive decision-making and serves as a strong platform for future leadership positions.

The following challenges await you:

- Track, structure, and prioritize strategic and operational topics for the CFO, ensuring transparency on key decisions, responsibilities, deadlines, and follow-up actions.
- Prepare high-quality decision papers, executive briefings, management summaries, presentations, and board-level materials, translating complex finance topics into clear and actionable messages.
- Contribute to group-wide transformation, efficiency, and digital finance initiatives
- Support the CFO in strategic finance initiatives, transformation programs, and cross-functional projects with relevance for business performance and long-term value creation.
- Contribute to finance-related governance formats, performance reviews, leadership meetings, reporting structures, and steering committees.
- Act as a trusted interface between the CFO, Finance Leadership Team, business units, corporate functions, and selected external stakeholders.
- Contribute to initiatives around finance digitalization, automation, and AI-driven transformation of finance processes and decision-making.
- You will actively contribute to shaping a modern, AI-enabled finance organization with a strong focus on performance, transparency, and scalable decision-making.
- Support the CFO in evaluating emerging technologies, AI use cases, and digital opportunities with relevance for finance and business performance.

Your Profile:

- Successfully completed degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field
- Initial to several years of relevant experience in finance, controlling, corporate finance, strategy, PMO, transformation, management consulting, or inhouse consulting
- Solid finance background with a strong understanding of financial processes, performance management, reporting, controlling, and business value drivers.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to structure complex topics and prepare them for executive decision-making.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, combined with experience in preparing executive presentations, decision papers, reports, or board-level materials.
- High level of initiative, ownership, and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with senior executives combined with a strong sense of discretion, integrity, and reliability
- Fluency in English and German complete your profile
