IT Specialist (Data Center Technician), Data Center Operations (m/f/d) (IT-Systemadministrator/in)

Key job responsibilities

This position involves:

- Diagnosing hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs
- Troubleshooting events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Performing root cause analysis of equipment failures
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations)
- Working rotating shifts (morning/late/night) as well as weekends to maintain the 24/7 data center environment
- On-call rotation reaction to off-duty emergency calls

Basic Qualifications

- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Completed apprenticeship as an electronics technician/IT specialist or equivalent training or job-related experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Linux and Networking protocols, or experience in Linux OS and network troubleshooting and experience in Network protocols like DNS/DHCP/TCP
