Bachelor thesis in the field of SAP ERP & Data Analytics (d/f/m)

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

- Familiarization with the department's existing SAP-based ERP and business processes.
- Analysis and structured evaluation of operational process data to identify bottlenecks, anomalies, or optimization potentials.
- Exploration and application of suitable data analytics or basic process mining methodologies tailored to a realistic bachelor-level scope.
- Derivation of practical, data-backed recommendations to improve efficiency and workflow predictability within the department.

Desired skills and qualifications

- Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration (with an IT focus) or an equivalent field of study.
- First practical experience or a strong academic interest in the field of ERP systems (specifically SAP data structures) and data analytics is desirable.
- Basic programming skills in data-relevant languages (e.g., Python, R, or SQL) or experience with analytics tools.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex data workflows into feasible, well-defined research questions.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Ability to work independently, combined with good communication skills to interface with team members.
