Senior Credit Risk Manager (m/f/d) (Betriebswirt/in (Fachschule) - Bank)

In this role you will
* Managing a defined portfolio related to wholesale credit risk matters
* Reviewing, recommending, and approving credit proposals for HBCE, in line with credit approval authority limits
* Maintaining strong credit quality of the portfolio, consistent with the Group’s credit culture. Promoting prudent lending principles to ensure high asset quality and minimize credit losses
* Proactively identifying and highlighting emerging risks and substandard credit exposures, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to protect the Bank’s interests
* Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders and internal clients on understanding and sharing vision, challenges and potential solutions
* Collaborating on transaction pipelines, credit guidelines, portfolio or product analyses, risk appetite definition, and other credit risk initiatives

You should apply if you have
* A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
* Experience in credit risk within relevant business sectors (Mid-Market/Large Corporates and Multinational Clients)
* Good understanding of HSBC’s overall operational dynamics
* Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization both within the Risk function and with business stakeholders
* Demonstrated capacity to assess risk trends, both internally and externally
* Proven ability to prioritize competing demands
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in English (spoken and written); German and / or French is an advantage
