Your Prospective Job:

We are currently recruiting a Design Engineer Aero Engines (f/m/d) for our prestigious client, an established aerospace supplier based in the Berlin region, available to start immediately.

Your Responsibilities:

- Design and optimise components, assemblies, and engine systems for safety, performance, manufacturability, cost, and lifecycle requirements.

- Create and maintain engineering definitions, models, drawings, and technical documentation using MBD/MBE methodologies.

- Apply Systems Engineering, Robust Design, risk management, and engineering analyses to validate and deliver compliant design solutions.

- Drive automation, standardisation, quality improvement, and defect prevention through efficient engineering processes and best practices.

- Support product lifecycle activities including configuration management, design changes, repairs, technical variants, and supply chain integration.

- Manage external design activities and ensure successful subsystem integration, data integrity, and stakeholder compliance.

Your Profile:

- University degree in engineering or regional equivalent qualification

- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical design methodologies

- Good understanding of cross-discipline engineering concepts which include but are not limited to manufacturing engineering, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, thermal and mechanical analysis, cost engineering and product definition

- Ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems and make balanced decisions across technical and business parameters

- Knowledge and experience of product integrity / liability and certification frameworks

- Good communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization

- Fluent English and good German language skills
