Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as Software Developer / Architect (m/f/d) for Embedded Real Time Software in Manching.

Your Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions into avionics system

- Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254) and safety-critical software development practices

- Perform mission system integration activities on hardware for various projects

- Conduct testing, validation, and verification of software to meet aerospace requirements

Your Profile:

- Completed studies in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or comparable

- Several years of professional experience in Informatics and Aerospace / Avionics

- Experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications and with virtualization technologies (including resource segregation and drivers)

- Familiarity with avionics standards (e.g., ARINC 653, DO-178C) and safety-critical software development

- Knowledge of Hardware Architectures (x86, ARM and RISC-V)

- Skills in C/C++ or Ada, real-time operating systems (e.g. VxWorks) and with CI/CD Methodologies

- Fluent English skills spoken and written

- German skills would be a plus
