The head office for the DACH and EEC markets, covering 13 countries with more than 2.700 employees, is in Düsseldorf and is the main location of around 500 employees.

As an **Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist**, you will be responsible for the maintenance and compliance of all Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger O&O stores across the DACH region. You will organize and manage administrative and commercial processes related to technical maintenance, servicing, and facility operations. This includes handling damages and insurance claims, monitoring maintenance and repair work, and coordinating activities with external service providers, landlords, and internal stakeholders, with a growing focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.

**A day in the life of an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist:**

- Ensure EHS compliance across all retail stores and offices in the DACH region

- Conduct regular store visits, audits, and risk assessments across sales floors, stockrooms, and back-of-house areas

- Partner closely with Store Managers and Retail Operations to implement and maintain EHS standards in daily store operations

- Support stores during peak trading periods, openings, refurbishments, and visual merchandising changes from a safety perspective

- Investigate incidents (e.g. customer or employee accidents) and ensure timely follow-up and corrective actions

- Provide hands-on EHS guidance and training tailored to retail teams

- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and safety-related topics with Facilities, landlords, and external service providers

- Monitor fire safety, emergency procedures, and safe use of equipment in stores

- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with local regulations and internal policies

- Support sustainability initiatives in stores, including waste management and energy efficiency

- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including internal teams (Store Development, Expansion, Area Management, Store & Outlet Management, Procurement, Finance, Retail Operations, Sustainability) and external partners (service providers, contractors, suppliers, landlords, center managers)

- Drive a proactive safety culture aligned with fast-paced retail environments

**What do we need from you? You have:**

- A degree or vocational training in Occupational Health & Safety, Facility Management, Business Administration or a related field

- 2–4 years of experience in a similar role within facility management, technical services, or EHS; retail or multi-site experience is a plus

- A hands-on, proactive mindset with strong organizational and coordination skills

- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, retail-driven environment

- Strong communication skills and confidence in working with diverse stakeholders

- A structured and detail-oriented approach to documentation and reporting

- A collaborative team spirit combined with the ability to work independently

- Business fluent English and German (written and spoken)

- Solid knowledge of EHS, facility management, or technical operations

- Familiarity with retail safety standards and compliance requirements

- Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 50001) is an advantage

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Willingness to travel and a valid driving license
