For our client, an internationally operating company within the maritime industry, we are looking for an experienced and well-organized Fleet Personnel Officer (m/f/d) to join the team in Hamburg.

Our client is active in the management and operation of a mixed Fleet and LNG vessels and operates in a highly international environment where reliability, safety and high operational standards are essential. In this role, you will take responsibility for the crew management of an assigned fleet and ensure that vessels are staffed efficiently, reliably and in accordance with all relevant requirements.

Fleet Personnel Officer / Crew Management (m/w/d) - Hamburg - Hybrid

- Take ownership of the crew management and manning of your assigned vessels

- Ensure that vessels are staffed in line with regulatory requirements, crew matrices, qualifications and client-specific standards

- Plan and coordinate crew rotations, reliefs and replacements

- Identify suitable alternatives and solutions to ensure uninterrupted vessel operations

- Coordinate closely with seafarers, internal departments, manning partners and other international stakeholders

- Monitor upcoming crew requirements and proactively address potential staffing challenges

- Maintain accurate personnel and crew-related documentation

- Contribute to efficient and professional crew operations within a highly international environment

- A completed commercial qualification, degree or comparable professional background

- Previous experience in Crew Management, Crew Operations, Fleet Personnel or a similar maritime position

- A background in shipping is highly desirable; experience at sea is an advantage

- Good understanding of crew requirements, seafarer qualifications and relevant maritime regulations

- Strong organizational and planning skills, even when dealing with multiple priorities at the same time

- A structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders

- Very good written and spoken English

- Confident use of MS Office and common digital tools

- A responsible position with your own area of responsibility

- An international working environment within the maritime and LNG sector

- A varied role with close contact to vessels, crews and international business partners

- Flexible working hours and a hybrid working model

- The possibility to work remotely for part of the month, subject to the applicable company arrangements
