In order to support the Quality Conformance Management, Airbus Operations is looking for a

Bachelor student (d/f/m) in the field of Quality Management / Behavioral Science, working title of thesis "Quality NC Eradication – Behavioral Quality Management (Nudging)".

You will be working at one of the largest production sites for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

- Support the Quality Conformance Manager in daily tasks, including continuous quality improvement, creating KPI-Dashboards, and updating Control Plans.
- Explore behavioral science—specifically "Nudges"—as a complement to traditional quality management for your thesis project.
- Analyze human factor challenges, such as shifted attention (Prospective Memory) or underestimating risks (Availability Heuristic).
- Investigate specific use cases, for example the "Scuff Plate Protection", where titanium plates are left unprotected.

Desired skills and qualifications

- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Suite or Google Workplace
- Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Business Psychology, Behavioral Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or an equivalent field of study.
- First practical experience in the field of project management and/or data analysis is desirable.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Self-organized individual with high motivation.
- A genuine interest in shaping quality and a curious mindset towards behavioral science.
