Flight Operations and Engineering Specialist (m/f/d) (Ingenieur/in - Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik)

In this position, you will play a key role at the intersection of aviation engineering, performance management and flight operations.

What you can expect:

- Conduct complex route analyses , including the assessment of decompression and OEI scenarios as well as aircraft performance
- Analyze and evaluate aircraft performance data
- Monitor published aircraft performance information and work closely with our internal Efficiency Team in the area of Airplane Performance Monitoring (APM)
- Develop and optimize aircraft performance applications
- Actively contribute to the further development and optimization of processes and applications within Flight Operations
- Prepare Operational Risk Evaluations (OREs) and contribute to the safe and reliable execution of our operational processes
- Work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

Ihr Profil:

What you bring:

- A completed university degree, ideally in aerospace engineering , or a comparable qualification combined with relevant professional experience
- Several years of relevant professional experience in aviation engineering , Aircraft Performance or a comparable technical environment
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- A strong understanding of economic and operational interrelationships
- Initiative and the ability to drive topics forward independently and take ownership
- Confident communication style as well as strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Flexibility and willingness to familiarize yourself with new technical and specialist topics
- Very good German and English language skills , both written and spoken
