Digital Consultant (m/f/d) R&D (Berater/in - digitale Transformation)

The following challenges await you:

- Identify and implement high-impact AI use cases across research, development, and innovation.
- Design and support AI-enabled research environments, including integration with lab systems, data platforms, and knowledge management solutions.
- Drive key AI-assisted research capabilities such as data analysis, knowledge discovery, experimental planning, and workflow automation.
- Support the digital transformation of R&D by improving research workflows, data environments, and collaboration processes.
- Contribute to the development of a long-term digital innovation strategy, including AI integration and lab digitalization.
- Monitor emerging technologies (e.g. generative AI, AI agents, digital labs) and translate them into practical use cases and pilot projects.
- Build and strengthen a cross-company innovation ecosystem with internal and external partners.
- Act as a trusted advisor to innovation leaders and drive cross-functional collaboration to accelerate innovation and reduce time-to-market.

Your profile:

- Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, natural sciences or a comparable technical field
- Several years of experience applying AI, data science or digital technologies in R&D, Innovation organizations or technology-driven industries
- Strong understanding of existing and emerging AI technologies with direct relevance to scientific environments
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on implementation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially when working with senior Innovation leaders and technical experts
- Experience working in international and cross-functional environments is a plus
