Drone Test Field Engineer (all gender)

YOU...

- integrate and commission new UAV systems in close collaboration with hardware, software and development teams
- prepare, conduct and evaluate development and qualification flight tests for different drone and UAV platforms
- operate, tune and troubleshoot multirotor, fixed-wing, eVTOL and catapult-launched UAV systems in the field
- analyze test data, identify technical issues and support the development and evaluation of hardware and software improvements
- document test results and maintain technical documentation throughout the testing process
- support system demonstrations and user training at test sites and during field deployments across Europe

Be our forward thinker
YOU...

- have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field
- bring extensive hands-on experience in assembling, tuning, testing and operating drones and UAV systems, or equivalent experience from relevant technical projects
- are familiar with QGroundControl, ArduPilot and/or PX4
- have experience in troubleshooting drones, UAV systems, electronics and technical components
- ideally have experience with data analysis, log interpretation, scripting, environmental testing, EASA SORA, CAD or 3D printing
- have good English language skills; German language skills are an advantage
