Your mission:

- You will be responsible for day-to-day financial accounting and will ensure that our business transactions are recorded accurately and on time
- You will work with DATEV on a daily basis and handle the account assignment and booking of documents
- You will process incoming invoices and assist with the processing of our outgoing invoices
- You will handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank accounting
- You’ll keep track of our open items and assist with payment processing
- You’ll help prepare and finalize monthly and annual financial statements
- You’ll work closely with our tax advisor and other external partners
- You’ll help further professionalize and automate our finance and accounting processes as the company grows

What you should bring to the team:

- A completed commercial apprenticeship, e.g., as a tax clerk, financial accountant, or similar, is a plus
- Professional experience in financial accounting
- Excellent knowledge of day-to-day bookkeeping
- Experience with DATEV
- Proficiency with MS Office and common finance tools
- A meticulous, structured, and reliable work style
- Enjoyment of taking on responsibility and driving projects forward independently
- Good communication skills in German and English and a pragmatic, hands-on mindset
- You feel at home in a dynamic startup environment and are eager to actively help build structures
