Technical Operations is part of Service NCE (Northern & Central Europe) and supports the organization in the installation and maintenance of a variety of SCADA systems for the control of medium- and large-scale wind turbines. Our mission is to transform a group of wind turbines into a fully operational power plant that meets contractual and regional requirements. Our customers are mainly larger energy supply companies and professional investors.

Your tasks

As a Plant Operations Specialist, you are the technical anchor point for the entire department. You will report directly to the Director and contribute to the strategic and technical direction of the division.

- Maintain an overview of new research and development (R&D) products and accompany their operational implementation
- Actively support technical escalations and risks for our business
- Be the point of contact for our four technical communities and ensure that initiatives are aligned and add value to the business
- Actively engage stakeholders and participate in global and regional communities
- Advise management on technical gaps, priorities, regional risks, etc.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with proven leadership experience in a technical environment. This position does not focus primarily on your technical expertise, but on your ability to identify synergies, align stakeholders around common goals, and steer the technical agenda in a way that adds value to the business. You will be part of an operational department, but at the same time you will have the overarching perspective.

- Degree or comparable educational background in information technology, automation technology or telecommunications
- Strong leadership skills, for example as a project manager or manager
- knowledge of the wind energy industry; Experience with SCADA systems is an advantage
- Fluent in written and spoken English

Competencies

- Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to convey complex technical topics in an understandable way
- Professional skills in stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently and set the technical direction for a team

Your primary place of work will be Aarhus or Videbæk in Denmark. Alternatively, Malmö (Sweden) as well as Husum or Hamburg (Germany) are also possible.
